Are At Home Marijuana Drug Tests The Same As Medical Tests?

I took a marijuana study at home the day before a potential drug test and one the same day of the drug test. They both came out negative (on both i got a pass out pink line, but there was a line) but I am still very paranoid and I don't know if they use the same kind of assay. I guess what I want to know is that if the home test proves to be 'No' will the medical one be negative too?
