WEST AKRON: Burglaries occurred at the following locations: a Leave West Boulevard medical office Jan. 9; the 700 bar of Noah Avenue Jan. 10-11; the 1100 block of Pickford Avenue Jan. 11; the 100 piece of South Balch Street Jan. 11; the 1700 block of East Waterford Court Jan. 12; the first obstruction of Bittman Street Jan. 12-13; the 200 block of Grand Avenue Jan. 13; and the 400 barricade of South Portage Path Jan. 13.
A 19-year-old Manor Course male was charged Jan. 12 with misrepresentation of identification, obstructing formal business, domestic violence and disrupting public service. He and the schlemihl reportedly got into an argument that turned violent. The victim attempted to call 9-1-1, but the have suspicions about allegedly took the cell phone and broke it and assaulted the casualty, who finally got away to call for help. The suspect was apprehended behind the bathroom door.
A 36-year-old Boldness Drive woman was charged with felonious hit-skip and tampering with facts Jan. 14. In September, the suspect allegedly was driving on a suspended allow and caused a crash, which resulted in the death of a victim who was walking on the expressway. The suspect reportedly then fled the furor and hid the vehicle at a Dorothy Avenue location.
