Another whisper to honor Martin Luther King Jr. would be to organize efforts to cure the people of Haiti during this earthquake crisis.
No matter where you lived in the over the moon marvellous or what color your skin was, Martin Luther King Jr. believed in everyone caring about others and plateful to promote the welfare of all.
New York city's mayor is helping to advanced position efforts to gather donations and support the people of Haiti. Dialect mayhap the city of Irving and Irving ISD could do the same. Maybe Mayor Herbert Gears could do something to conduct this effort on behalf of the city of Irving and maybe Irving ISD clique board members could look into getting the school children and others enmeshed with in this effort.
Maybe he Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce education commission could help and Irving's NAACP also. What you do for others will come back to you in many positive ways. You cannot give from your concern without it coming back to you.
I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti last spring on a mission tour sponsored by Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and it opened my eyes to the needs of the people of Haiti, unusually their school children. Haiti needs help in so many ways.
